  •  Thanks, Nick, but no dogs at Daz Bog, being a restaurant/coffee shop kindo of place. Bud will have to miss this one ; )

  •  Look forward to meeting you on Monday. I enjoyed the Star Trek Dimensions episodes. You established the characters very quickly.

  •  Hi Nick. I emailed you about a week ago, and was wondering if it got to you. Please get back to me. I would love for you to check out this software and tell me what you think.

  •  Thanks! I'm looking forward to the Twitter class. I'm not yet on Facebook (I know, I know...) but am thinking about it, so I'd love to find out more about the benefits of Facebook vs. Myspace. See ya tonight!

  •  i'd be happy to lead a class on multiply some day. it doesn't really have a business use (unless you're a small shop in the Philippines), but if people are interested in the personal angle, i'm all over that.

  •  (i find it ironic that these are called greetings when it seems to be the more natural way on here to hold conversations.) well, unless you've gotten an alert about the discussion i started, then there's no alert unless you go turn them on. if you did receive an alert, then i'd be interested to know if you had already turned alerts on before i posted it. (i'm coming to think that the discussion section in here is about as useful as facebook groups... or the human appendix.)

  •  Hmm, looks like receiving email alerts is the default. But I can't tell if that's for the "message board" or just events. I think you have to "track" the message board to get alerts there. Not sure what default is there, though. If it's off, then new folks will never get discussion alerts. :-\ OK, I'll stop blathering on your "wall". I'm just trying to wrangle the meetup.com system. ;-)

  •  Grrrr, it appears you can only start a discussion on a specific meetup date if you RSVP first. Which is silly since the discussion might be what makes you decide one way or the other. *sigh* So, I'm wondering if you get an alert when a discussion is started. I know I've gotten emails about upcoming events before from other meetup groups, but I don't ever remember seeing a notice about a discussion. Do you know?

  •  Hey Nick; This sounds like a really good time learning neat stuff. I think we can build a really fun group of geeks with this. I dont know where 401 Mason is though??
