Digital Gunslingers and Ethical Entrepreneurs bring common sense back to the web and in business by promoting and practicing the virtues of honesty, transparency, authenticity, credibility, accountability, integrity, and humility. We believe that social media is not a silver bullet - it's not for everyone or perfect for every situation. We believe that business should support the community, the employees, and the customers as their primary assets. You have to start with the right mentality and a plan. That’s where we come in. The purpose of the Digital Gunslinger MeetUp group is to provide simple and free or low-cost Social Media education and training, promote Social Media events, and highlight the best of the online community. We also teach on the principles of Entrepreneurship - financial, project management, and other worthwhile and useful skill sets to have in business. Most classes are $1, the money goes to pay for the cost of the MeetUp Group ($72/6mos). Once that cost is met, we donate the rest to charity. The charity is chosen by the group once we reach $50. If you're unemployed, the classes are free. We meet weekly for fun and for knowledge - discussions are welcome, dissent is encouraged.
