1. Can a photo you posted get you in legal trouble? I'm not a lawyer, but I play one on TV. Really, I often stand on top of my TV and play like I'm a lawyer - waving my hands around and making funny noises. A quick look at copyright, release and what is free speech and what isn't when it comes to images.

2. Then a look at how to take photos that will make you look like you know what you are doing, even if you don't. Given all the thought you put into the words you use in social media you don't want you images to be haphazard. These are all basic things which do not require $3000 cameras. I'll share concepts that apply to any device from your cell phone camera upwards to shooting video.

Composition, to include composing a photo when you are going to add copy to the photo, such as the title image for a blog.

Light, photography is recording light and by paying attention to the light that alone will improve the quality of your photos.

Event photography and photojournalism. As people who comment on the world around you it can often be important to capture images of happenings - be that a single person giving a speech or a protesting mob. I'll pass on some strategies for getting pictures in a situation like this.
