Digital Gunslingers and Web Wranglers bring common sense back to the web by promoting and practicing the virtues of honesty, transparency, authenticity, credibility, accountability, integrity, and humility. We believe that social media is not a silver bullet - it's not for everyone or perfect for every situation. You have to start with the right mentality and a plan.
That’s where we come in.
The purpose of the Digital Gunslinger MeetUp group is to provide simple and free or low-cost Social Media education and training, promote Social Media events, and highlight the best of the online community by nominating a "Digital Gunslinger" each month to be featured on the WTF Marketing website.
If we charge for a class, the money goes to pay for the cost of the MeetUp Group ($72/6mos). Once that cost is met, we donate the rest to charity.
We meet weekly for fun and for knowledge - discussions are welcome, dissent is encouraged.
